Library Automation Takes Place
Teachers and students will find the library has made some new changes for the 2005-2006 school year. Library patrons will no longer use the old card catalog to look up materials. Over the summer the library was automated or was set up on a computer program. The new automation system allows patrons to go to a computer in the classroom or in the library and type in a subject, author, or title and the computer record will indicate if the material is available. The new system is user friendly and is much faster to use when accessing materials.
